   VOICE COILS

A voice coil consists of a former collar and winding. Capital Radio Company uses POLYIMIDE FILMS as former and high quality copper wire for winding. Gluing is done in such a way that the over all thermal capacity of the voice coil increases considerably high.

Capital Radio Company manufactures all sizes and types of Voice Coils required to fulfill the PA as well as Pro Audio industry needs. Any specific or/ and special requirement regarding size and dc resistance of V. coil is welcome.

When the amplified audio signal passes through the voice coil it provides the motive force to the cone by the reaction of a magnetic field to the current passing through it. In the earliest loudspeakers, voice coils were wound onto paper bobbins, which was appropriate for the modest power levels of the period. But in today’s world, High powered amplifiers are available. The voice coils thermal capacity as well as the capacity of rigorous movement within the magnetic gap should be properly considered. Capital Radio Company considering this uses POLYIMIDE FILMS as former instead of aluminum so as to make the coil as light as possible and as rugged as required.
